Importing and Syncing Video in MatchTracker
Importing Video
There are multiple ways to import media. Once you ingest your data you can choose to import the media right away from this window by clicking on the import option, and navigating to the media location.
Alternatively, you can import it from within the package.
- Navigate to File Import Video.
- Then find the media file in the window that opens up.
- Choose the Channel that you're importing and the Period.
- If it is edited, check the box off.
- If it is edited, check the box off.
Changing the Channel
- Right click on the video window, and choose the desired channel.
Syncing Video
After importing media, MatchTracker allows you to sync the video with the data. If you have multiple video files you will be able to sync each file individually.
- Holding CMD (Mac) or CTRL (Windows), click on an event that will be easy to sync to (kick off, tip off, puck drop, etc).
- Right click on the video, and choose Sync Channel.
- The video sync menu will pop up on the video window.
- Use the M, S, F buttons to move the video forward or backwards by 1 minute, 1 second, or 1 frame in the desired direction.
- Find the frame that you are looking for.
- If your video is continuous (e.g. doesn't contain a half time break), or has been imported in multiple segments, choose multi sync (so it is green). Then repeat steps 1-5, using the next convenient event (e.g.2nd half Kick-Off)
