INTRODUCTION

Users of Catapult Wearable Technology as well as Pro-Video have the opportunity to import wearable data into Focus.

In doing so, users are able to understand the context around wearable events and efforts, and the impact they have on technical and/or tactical events.

OPENFIELD SETUP

• Check the OpenField user has accurately created periods - How to create, edit and delete Periods
• Check the OpenField user has performed a Full Sync - OpenField Sync

FOCUS SETUP

• Create a Focus Archive Session - Creating an Archive Session
• Select appropriate Session Type - Setting Timing Tags

PROCESS STEPS

1. Navigate to Focus Exporter - https://vision-projects.catapultsports.com/focus-openfield/index.html
2. Select Periods (select "Create periods as tags" recommended)
3. Select Athletes
4. Select Events (input minimum thresholds where necessary)
5. Select Efforts
6. Select RHIE (input desired settings)
7. Select MII
8. Create Focus File Fetch from OpenField
9. Apply desired Pre & Post Roll Duration (seconds)
10. Download Focus Import File
    • Choose Timeline Colours Choose to Create separate JSON files for each period Download
11. In Focus, in the Tag Menu Import Tags Browse Change file type to .json from .xml Locate exported JSON file
12. Tag Menu Sync Tags
13. Select .json from Timeline dropdown menu
14. Align Select first OF Period - to - Select corresponding timing tag
15. If needed, apply the Time Offset in seconds
16. Save & Close
