MatchTracker 10.1 expands support for IMPECT Qualifiers and adds a new Help menu - alongside a set of data accuracy fixes across formations, penalty periods, and card events.
Important Information
- macOS Tahoe is now supported. MatchTracker now supports macOS Tahoe, Sequoia and Sonoma. Older versions may encounter issues or be unable to install future updates.
- Intel Mac support ending. MatchTracker versions released after summer 2027 will require an Apple silicon chip on Mac.
- Updated hardware specs. Alongside this release, we've updated our Recommended Hardware Specs article - worth a look if you're planning new hardware.
New Features
- IMPECT Qualifiers expanded - added the DEF_PXT, Pre-Assist/Shot Creating Actions/Shot Assists, and Expected Pass/Expected Assist qualifier families to the Impect Qualifiers submenu, available across Eventing, Passes, Shots, and Set Pieces & Crosses.
- Help menu added to the MatchTracker menu bar - get quick access to the Help Centre, FAQs, Release Notes and Contact Support.
Other Improvements and Bug Fixes
- Fixed: The Download Manager now shows unprocessed IMPECT matches as 'Incomplete' rather than appearing downloaded
- Fixed: Yellow cards - and red cards from a second yellow - not appearing for IMPECT source data
- Fixed: Formation changes in the Formation Editor not propagating to subsequent events, causing incorrect formations after a like-for-like substitution
- Fixed: Whiteboard formation lines not updating correctly on formation change, mid-game changes, or on import
- Fixed: Match periods for IMPECT and StatsBomb fixtures that go straight to penalties
- Fixed: Player names showing as random numbers when ingesting StatsBomb packages using the "Initial Name/Last Name" naming style
- Fixed: Exporting a Snapshot, or adding one to a Presentation, with heat maps producing inconsistent results on Apple Silicon
- Fixed: A "#" character in a Presentation name triggering a false "Low Disk Space" error and failing the export
