Session Types
Before setting up a Timing tag, you need to associate your session with one of the five default Session Type options. This can be set for a Live Capture or an Archive Session.
- Click on the dropdown below the Session Name > select the Session Type option that relates to your sport.

Note: You can create your own Session Types by accessing Focus Settings > Session Types and typing a new Type name and associated Timing names and durations.
Timing Tags
- Once a Session has been associated with the appropriate sport, navigate to the beginning of the match and select the Timing Tag icon above the timeline and below the tagging template.
- Depending on the sport you selected, you will get the first quarter/half appearing above the timeline. This provides a rough guide to where the end of the quarter/half should be. By default the first timing tag "Pre-Match" will already be applied.
- You need to define both the start and end, and beginning of each quarter/half by moving the playhead to the next point in time.
