Create a new tag on the timeline
Holding Shift , click and drag on the desired row.
Move a tag to a different row
Holding Option, click and drag the tag to your desired row.
Copy tag to a different row
Holding CMD, click and drag the tag to the desired row.
Adjust the Pre and Post Roll of Tags
1. Holding Shift , click and drag to extend, or trim, your tag.
2. To adjust the start and endpoint of your tag to the current playhead position, select the tag, and use the default hotkeys Shift+I (Start) and Shift+O (End).
3. When your tags are selected, use the Tag Properties panel to adjust the Pre and Post Roll by:
a) Clicking or, to add 1 second of pre-roll (left) or post-roll (right).
b) Add a custom value to extend (+) or trim (-) the pre and post Roll, then press enter.
Merge Overlapping Tags
When Overlapping Tags are selected:
1. Use the default hotkey CMD/CTRL + Shift + M to merge Tags that are overlapping or,
2. Click the Merge Overlapping Tags icon in Tag Properties.
Adjust whether merged Tags contain duplicate labels, or not, in the icon drop-down. Or, go to the global setting Tagging Allow Duplicate Label Insertion.
Playback Speed Controls
Space = Toggle Pause/Play
N = Playback at Normal Speed
CMD + Space = Playback at Quarter Speed
Shift + Space = Playback at Double Speed
Shift + CMD + Space = Playback at Eight times Normal Speed
Right Arrow = Skip Forwards
Right Arrow + CMD = Skip Forwards by Frame
Right Arrow + Shift = Skip Forwards Large
Right Arrow + Shift + CMD = Skip Forwards Extra Large
Left Arrow = Skip Backwards
Left Arrow + CMD = Skip Backwards by Frame
Left Arrow + Shift = Large
Left Arrow + Sift + CMD = Skip Backwards Extra Large
Step sizes can be customised under Settings Controls
Timeline Displays
In Settings > Timeline, you can adjust the visual properties of the Timeline.
Select Full for a single row timeline.
Recommended when there are fewer Tags to display.
Select None to hide the tags on the timeline.
Select Multi-Row to view Tags on separate rows.
Select Multi-Row (Non-Overlapping) for a stretched display of all overlapping Tags on separate rows.
In Settings > Timeline, Deselect Show tag preview on tag selection to remove the tag preview pop-up when tags are selected.
Import an XML
Select the Tags Icon Import Tags.
Browse to find the XML file Click Open.
Click Import XML will import into your timeline.

Sync Timeline Tags
Using Kick-Off Tag and Timing Tags,
Select the Tags Icon Sync Tags.
In the Timeline drop-down, select the Tag source you would like to sync.
In the 1st Align drop-down, select the Tag you would like to align. In the 2nd Align drop-down, select which Timing Tag to align the chosen Tag to.
Click Save.
All Tags from the chosen source will move relative to the aligned Tag.
Syncing tags independent of other tags on the timeline (eg 2nd Half)
Marquee select your chosen Tags.
In the Tag Properties panel, use the Time Offset controls to shift the tags 1 second left or right. Or, enter a custom value (seconds) to shift the tags left (-) or right (+), then press Enter.

Tag Preview
By turning on Show tag preview on tag selection in settings,
you will see a pop-up preview of individual tags when they are selected.
In this view you can:
- Review the video
- Change the video angle
- Add Notes
- Remove Labels
- Export the video
- Add to a Collection
- Add to a Presentation
- Delete the Tag
- Trim the Tag
Sorting Rows
Sort Rows Alphabetically.
Sort Rows by Colour.
Click and drag rows to custom re-order.
Sort Rows to Customised Row Order.
Click to insert a new row.
