Like the activation link function, deactivation links can be used to automatically deactivate a button by clicking another linked button. These deactivation links can also be created between a combination of tags and labels.
For example, the analyst wants all of his current phase buttons to deactivate once the ball goes out of play. By using the deactivation link function the analyst only has to use one button and it will automatically deactivate the linked button(s).

How to create a deactivation link
To create a deactivation link, once you have created some tags or labels:
- Navigate to Focus Templates and click on the Tag (or Label) that you want to use to deactivate other tags. In this example, Ball out of Play.
- Click on the Edit Links button.
- Once in the Edit Links page, you need to select the Tag(s) you want to deactivate when the Ball in Play button is pressed. In this example, Direct Play, Fast Build Up and Final Third.
